Open to educators from IBSCA member schools, our free Seminar series provides an in-depth look at some of the key topics and challenges facing our IB community.
The focus of this seminar will be on the Internal Assessment for Mathematics Applications & Interpretation, specifically looking at the development process from the introduction to the choice of topic and presentation of proposals.

Creating mind maps for gallery walks
Choosing an appropriate time-line
Writing an appropriate proposal
Ensuring academic honesty
Seminar Details:
3-hour seminar delivered virtually making access easy and convenient.
Led by an experienced IB educator who is part of the IBEN network.
Limited to one registration per IBSCA member school. There are a limited number of spaces available, if sufficient interest is expressed a second date may be opened or additional spaces added.
Offered free as a benefit of IBSCA membership.
Led by:
Lorraine Heinrichs has taught mathematics for over 30 years and IB mathematics for 18 years at Bonn International School where she also held the position of DP coordinator for 15 years. Lorraine enjoys various roles with the IB. She is highly experienced in assessment for Mathematics HL. She has been a workshop leader for the IB since 2002, facilitating workshops, mainly in DP Mathematics. She participated in the last two curriculum reviews for mathematics and is currently part of the new curriculum review. She is also a co-author for DP mathematics text books published by Oxford University Press.
